The tee shot on #8 is framed by massive old growth trees. Fire down the hill and then turn the corner and play up to the green. The shelf in the back of the green makes for a challenging hole location, but will also act as a nice backstop when the flag is on the lower portion of the green.

Choose the tee markers that suit your game. From the back tees, this is the most challenging hole on the course. Play your tee shot through the chute and find the landing area short of Roberts Creek. Forward tee players will play a long iron to the same area. The second shot has to cover the creek and environmentally sensitive area to the large green that slopes right to left.

Hole 11
This hole is defined by the most diabolical green on the Sunshine Coast. The hole plays straight away slightly uphill. The green cants hard from left to right and mostly front to back. A precise wedge is required to hold the surface, let alone get it close.

Hole 13
This uphill par four plays much longer that the yardage. The green is guarded by a tree to the right and bunkers right and left. A large false front will have balls roll back to the fairway on shots that don’t reach the middle of the green. Big slopes all over the putting surface make this one of the most distinct on the course.

Sneaky tough, the 15th plays slightly uphill and often into the prevailing wind. The large cedar tree on the right causes lot of problems for tee shots, and often will drop the ball in the bunker below. This is the flattest green on the course, so take dead aim.

Hole 16
A short par four that only the very longest of hitter may challenge. A layup off the tee is a wise choice for most players. A pond and bunkers will force a shot of about 200 yards or less off the tee. Hit a wedge close for your birdie chance.

Hole 17
The shortest hole on the course still offers plenty of challenge. A tiny pond in front of the green and deep bunkers right and left make this short shot quite intimidating. The narrow front of the green is a very small target, and the pin can also be tucked on the back shelf behind the left bunker. Good shots will lead to a birdie chance.
